Minimalist Elopement Wedding Inspiration near Gordes, Provence
Elopement Wedding Inspiration – near Gordes in Provence – France
Less is definitely MORE when you’re a modernist couple. Therefore choosing a quaint village in the Luberon Valley for your elopement wedding is definitely something that most eloping couples don’t think about. So, I hope that the following blog will inspire you to see Provence like you’ve never seen it before; crisp, raw and austere. The hidden ancient villages, not too far from the typical lavender fields of Provence, make a great backdrop for couples who embrace minimalism.
The wedding decoration
A romantic dinner nestled within the ancient walls of a private villa, hidden within a quantity French countryside village, was the perfect setting for this intimate wedding inspiration shoot. A table setting, set for six, means that only the most important people are there to celebrate your wedding with you. Natural decorations that recall the raw beauty of the Luberon Valley and its hills, the nearby Mediterranean sea, keep the palette for this celebration pale and poetic.
The brides style
The brides choice of wedding dresses compliments the settings for each of the main parts of the wedding day. A classic crepe, off-the-shoulder wedding dress is perfect for the intimate wedding ceremony in an ancient church. While a sparkling and sequinned wedding dress is perfect for the evenings celebrations, poolside.
This collaboration shoot planned by the talented Clemence from the blog of MADAME C (France’s top inspiration wedding blog for modern brides) became an interesting study in modern wedding photography for me. As a professional light chaser, I choose to work with soft romantic light in romantic settings overflowing with florals and pretty. However, this collaboration meant working with a minimalist loving wedding planner and she challenged me to see the wedding world through a crisp and more monochromatic eye. A challenge that I fully embraced! I hope that you find the results of this minimalist elopement wedding inspiration shot in the Luberon valley in Provence as inspiring and stimulating as I do!
